Boston Marathon 2025 - Team With A Vision, Massachusetts Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired

Hemenway & Barnes and partner Teresa Belmonte are proud to sponsor Team With A Vision in support of the Massachusetts Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired (MABVI). Team With A Vision is dedicated to providing individuals living with vision loss or blindness the opportunity to run the Boston Marathon. With the support of volunteers, sighted guides, and community partners they support athletes, so they can reach their personal goals. Their goal is to raise critical funds for MABVI while raising the visibility of athletes with disabilities.

MABVI’s Team With A Vision was founded in 1993 by Pam Fernandes, a competitive blind athlete and employee of the Massachusetts Association for the Blind. “I want to show people if I can do it, they can do it,” are words she lives by. Team With A Vision has raised over $3 million for the programs of the MABVI.

Teresa Belmonte is a member of the Board of Directors of MAB Community Services, Inc., of which MABVI is a part.
