Leni B. Nulsen* advises clients in all stages of their corporate growth, including commercial transactions, financings, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate restructurings. As a member of the firm’s Business Law Group, Leni counsels boards and management teams on day to day operational issues and in addressing regulatory requirements and corporate governance matters. She also works closely with Hemenway & Barnes’ Nonprofit Group in advising tax-exempt entities with regard to formation, restructuring, regulatory and compliance issues.

Prior to joining Hemenway & Barnes, Leni was a contract analyst at Harvard Business School Publishing. Leni began her career at a top-tier international law firm as an associate in the firm’s real estate group. During law school, Leni was a legal intern for the New York City Law Department, and later served as a law clerk for the United States Senate Committee on Rules & Administration.

  • Negotiating Software as a Service license agreements, master services agreements, statements of work, and non-disclosure agreements with domestic and international corporations.
  • Structuring and negotiating joint ventures for the purchase and development of commercial real estate.

  • Representing commercial clients in the purchase, sale and financing of office, multi-family and hotel properties.
