He has over a decade of experience helping clients navigate the legal and emotional issues during the estate planning process, including asset protection, multigenerational transfers, and blended family situations. With an accounting degree and an LLM in taxation, Bryce understands the complexities of tax planning and works with clients to develop tax-efficient strategies, including charitable giving, gifting, and income tax planning.
Prior to joining Hemenway & Barnes, Bryce worked for a large, global law firm where his practice focused on tax-efficient estate planning for high net-worth clients.
Representative Experience
- Advise fiduciaries in connection with estate and trust administration.
- Counsel individuals and families on wealth transfer and tax planning strategies, including multigenerational wealth transfers, charitable giving, and gift and income tax planning.
- Advise U.S. citizens living abroad on matters relating to U.S. income and transfer tax considerations.
- Represent institutional fiduciary trustees in connection with cy pres matters, trust termination petitions, will reformations and account allowances.
- Collaborate with client family offices to implement gift plans, including establishing trust structures to maximize exemption usage.
