The Massachusetts Fallen Heroes 2024 Patriot Week

Hemenway & Barnes is pleased to sponsor the Massachusetts Fallen Heroes 2024 Patriot Week celebration from Friday, May 17th till Monday May 27th.

Massachusetts Fallen Heroes was established in 2010 by local Veterans, Gold Star Families, and first responders to memorializing fallen service members and to provide programs and services for Veterans and Gold Star Families in the community.

Patriot Week, established in 2016, is designed to inspire and educate the community about Honor, Service, Sacrifice, Character and Duty to reinforce the true meaning of Memorial Day. All of the events and activities offered during Patriot Week are created to educate citizens about the difference between Armed Forces Day, Memorial Day and Veterans Day.

Hemenway & Barnes Helps Ensure Prisoners’ Families Receive Settlement Funds

Hemenway & Barnes is working on a pro bono basis to administer the estates of now-deceased prisoners, members of the federal class action lawsuit Diggs v. Mici. A $6.75 million settlement received final court approval on October 24, 2025.
