Health Law Advocates 26th Annual Benefit Breakfast

Hemenway & Barnes is pleased to sponsor the Health Law Advocates (HLA) 26th Annual Benefit Breakfast. This year’s featured speaker is Amy Tan, New York Times bestselling author of the Joy Luck Club. She is the subject of a documentary directed by James Redford titled Amy Tan: Unintended Memoir, which debuted at Sundance in January 2021 and is now on Netflix.

The Benefit Breakfast is the primary source of support for HLA, which promotes access to affordable, quality health care for low-income Massachusetts residents. Over the years, this event has enabled HLA to help more than 15,000+ families and individuals obtain health care.
