Hemenway & Barnes partner Eleanor Evans will present a webinar on "Legal Guidance on DEI Executive Orders for Philanthropic Organizations" with members from GCRI, Philanthropy MA and Maine Philanthropy on Thursday, May 1, 2025, from 12:00 - 1:00 PM.

Eleanor Evans will present an overview of the considerations foundations need to keep in mind with respect to the Executive Orders around DEI and give you some things to think about to distinguish among the current issues and those that pre-date the current administration’s Executive Orders.

Denise Porché, Executive Director of the Island Foundation will also share the questions her board had and which legal guidance was particularly important to their deliberations.
