About the ABCD
ABCD is a nonprofit human services organization that each year provides more than 100,000 low-income residents in the Greater Boston region with the tools and resources needed to transition from poverty to stability, and from stability to success.

Hemenway & Barnes Helps Ensure Prisoners’ Families Receive Settlement Funds
Hemenway & Barnes is working on a pro bono basis to administer the estates of now-deceased prisoners, members of the federal class action lawsuit Diggs v. Mici. A $6.75 million settlement received final court approval on October 24, 2025.
