Brad Bedingfield and Eleanor Evans will present “Tax Reform Two Years In - Non-Profits and Donors” at the Massachusetts Society of CPAs Nonprofit Conference on January 23, 2020.
In addition to impacting how nonprofits are taxed, the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 has affected how donors are giving to charitable organizations. In this session, Brad and Eleanor will discuss where nonprofits stand two years into tax reform, and provide an update on how the tax law is being implemented, including Unrelated Business Taxable Income (UBTI) and the new taxes on transportation fringe benefits, executive compensation and net investment income, as well as the effect of tax reform on charitable giving.
