Sowing Seeds That Sustain Generations at Round the Bend Farm – 2026 Farmraiser

May 2, 2026

On May 2, 2026, supporters will gather at Round the Bend (RTB) farm in Dartmouth, Massachusetts for the farm’s annual farmraiser, The Seeds We Sow. RTB is a 115-acre working farm and educational nonprofit dedicated to cultivating, educating, and empowering people of all ages.

As a Center for Restorative Community, the farm serves as a living laboratory – modeling nature, valuing diversity, and redefining wealth through connection, sustainability, and shared abundance. Proceeds from the event will support the organization’s core programs, including education (field trips and experiential learning), regenerative farming initiatives, and Manifest Love, its partnered food donation and educational program.

This annual gathering reflects a shared commitment to stewardship, learning, and cultivating a more abundant and resilient community, one that sustains both land and people for generations to come. Hemenway & Barnes is pleased to support The Seeds We Sow farmraiser and RTB, where Nancy Dempze serves on the Board of Directors.

Round the Bend Farm: How this nonprofit is making an impact with agriculture

When Desa Van Laarhoven and Geoff Kinder founded Round the Bend Farm: A Center for Restorative Community (RTB) in Dartmouth, they were moving on a mission that went beyond running the farm. The goal? To create a truly sustainable property that is self-contained, serves the regional population, and educates the population on the future of farming through a unique "agripreneur" program.
