Robert Leahy to Co-Chair the BBA Tax-Exempt Organizations Committee

Robert Leahy has been selected to Co-Chair the Boston Bar Association Tax-Exempt Organizations Committee. The Tax-Exempt Organizations Section provides a forum for practitioners interested in the law of nonprofit organizations.

Rob Leahy is an associate in the Nonprofit Group at Hemenway & Barnes. Rob advises tax-exempt organizations, including private foundations, public charities, and colleges on tax rules and procedures, governance, contracts, research and licensing agreements, and compliance matters. Prior to joining Hemenway & Barnes, Rob served as Senior Counsel at Northeastern University, primarily advising on grants sponsored projects related matters across the enterprise. Rob received his JD from Pepperdine University School of Law and his LLM in Taxation from Georgetown Law School.
