Hemenway & Barnes is pleased to sponsor Massachusetts Law Reform Institute’s Catalyst for Change 2025 event on Thursday, September 18, 2025. This year’s Catalyst for Change event celebrates the enduring mission of MLRI and spotlights the launch of MLRI’s new Legal Aid & Community Education (LACE) Project — launching in late 2025. The event will also honor two remarkable leaders whose work embodies MLRI’s spirit of justice: Sue Finegan, Esq. and Carmen Nieves.
Founded in 1968, MLRI is a nationally-recognized poverty law and policy center. Its mission is to provide statewide advocacy and leadership in advancing laws, policies, and practices that secure economic, racial, and social justice for low-income people and communities.
