Diane Tillotson to Discuss Massachusetts Public and Private Ways at REBA 2026 Spring Conference
Diane Tillotson will co-present “Creation and Discontinuance of Public and Private Ways: What GPS Won’t Tell You” at the Real Estate Bar Association’s (REBA’s) 2026 Spring Conference on May 11, 2026.
The session will examine how public and private ways have been established under Massachusetts law, as well as the evolving legal landscape regarding the rights and responsibilities associated with them. The discussion will also cover the recent Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court decision in Town of Concord v. Rasmussen and the implications for municipalities, landowners, surveyors, and title examiners.
