SHANA E. MALDONADO joined Hemenway & Barnes as an associate in 2006. Ms. Maldonado focuses her practice in the areas of probate, trust, real property and business litigation.
Ms. Maldonado received her undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College in 1999 and her law degree from Northeastern University School of Law in 2006 where she was a teaching assistant for the legal research and writing course. While in law school she completed internships with the Honorable Denis R. Hurley of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York, the Office of the Massachusetts Attorney General and two private law firms in Boston. Ms. Maldonado also volunteered as a student advocate for indigent clients through Shelter Legal Services. Prior to practicing law, Ms. Maldonado worked at a biopharmaceutical company handling recruitment, relocation and immigration work.
