BRIAN C. BRODERICK joined Hemenway & Barnes in 1993 and was admitted to the partnership in 1996. Mr. Broderick was associated for several years with the law firm of Choate, Hall & Stewart. Mr. Broderick began his practice in the health care and probate areas and now serves as a private fiduciary, concentrating his practice on related probate, estate planning and trusts and estates matters.

Mr. Broderick serves as a faculty member for educational programs presented by the Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education, Inc., and other professional and charitable organizations. He is a member of the Probate Law sections of the Massachusetts and Boston Bar Associations.

In addition to his professional activities, Mr. Broderick is interested in educational opportunities for urban youth. He is President of the Boston region of the Massachusetts Parents Alliance for Catholic Education, is a member of the Committee for Parental Choice in Education, and is a past member of the corporate development committee of the Massachusetts Association for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children.

Mr. Broderick is a resident of South Natick, having recently moved from Holliston where he served for several years as Chairman of the Holliston Zoning Board of Appeals and of the Holliston Zoning By-Law Study Committee.

He graduated from Boston College in 1983 (summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa) and from Cornell Law School in 1986, where he was Chancellor of the Moot Court Board.
